Dave has worked as a Clinical Psychologist since graduating in 1991 (University of Canterbury). Outside of work, he’s a busy family man and enjoys many aspects of the Bay of Plenty lifestyle. In his work, Dave enjoys meeting and getting to know clients and their unique life situations, and supporting them cope and achieve their aspirations. He has experience working with a wide range of psychological challenges from young adulthood through to older years, and he works with individuals, couples, and families. Dave flexibly utilises a range of psychotherapeutic models, including ACT/mindfulness, CBT, Schema Therapy, and couple therapy models. The issues he often assists people with include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, sexuality, chronic pain, adjustment to illness, injury and disability, developmental challenges across the adult lifespan, and neurodiversity in adulthood, including ADHD. He also clinically supervises professionals from a range of backgrounds, including Psychologists throughout Aotearoa/New Zealand. Please email Dave with any requests.  

Marie completed her Clinical Psychology training at the University of Canterbury in 1997. She is a Registered Clinical Psychologist and a member of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists and has worked privately in Christchurch and Tauranga for over 20 years. Marie has clinical expertise with eating disorders and child and adolescent psychology and adults. She tends to work with children, young people and their families and adults regarding anxiety, mood problems, relationship problems, developmental issues and neurodivergence. She also offers supervision to a range of health professionals. Marie most commonly uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based therapy approaches, however she has a background in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Marie works with GP’s and other medical specialists as required.

Tanzi is a registered Clinical Psychologist who completed her training at the University of Canterbury in 2003. She has since worked with adults, adolescents, children and their families in a variety of mental health settings in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Tanzi has a range of clinical interests including depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment difficulties, post-natal depression, autistic spectrum disorder, parenting and family relationships. She currently works predominantly with children, adolescents and their families in private practice and facilitates a number of community-based programs addressing anxiety, attachment and parenting. Tanzi uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based and family systems approaches. She also has a background in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Tanzi has also developed the Chillax® program to help parents, teachers and health practitioners support young people struggling with anxiety. Lydia is a Registered Clinical Psychologist who grew up in Tauranga. She completed her training at the University of Otago. She is currently an associate member of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists.  Lydia’s experience includes working in community teams and privately to support children, families, and adults with emotional difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, and first-episode psychosis. Although Lydia’s background is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, she tailors various evidence-based approaches to individual needs. Please email Lydia with any requests.
